Magnesia brick is a kind of alkalescency refractory brick that made from the sintered magnesium with its content of 87% and that are combined with silicate. Since its combination composition is mainly CMS-M2S system, its Load softening temperature is low and thermal shock resistance is poor that determine its application is few. But magnesia brick is widely sued in the furnaces and kilns that have alkaline atmosphere. The essential properties of magnesia brick depends on the nature of the raw materials, the mineral composition, microstructure and closely on the density of the products.
According to the physical and chemical index, there are 4 models of Magnesia brick, they are MZ-91, MZ-89, MZ-87 and the MGZ-82.

Magnesia Bricks applications:
It is mainly used for wall and bottom of EAF, which parts need the good resistance to slag. Much higher of the density, lower porosity, smaller diameters of the porosity, much higher corrosion resistance will the bricks have.
Magnesia bricks packing
Products are packed on wooden pallet and then polyethylene film is placed over it, finally the package is tied up with steel strips.
